認識ET-CUSTOM - 改裝的工藝

認識ET-CUSTOM - 改裝的工藝 在細小的香港電單車市場，已經有許多的改裝店，絕大部份是購買不同品牌的零部件，按客戶需要而改裝。然而，ET-CUSTOM在這個市場中是相當另類，由來自英國的電單車工程師Geoff打理，主打手工與自家設計的改裝工藝。 ET-CUSTOM位於屯門的一所工廈內，處於新界位置，店內地方相當寬敞。話雖如此，憑什麼因素吸引顧客遠道而來呢？一切源於Geoff對電單車改裝的熱愛與工藝。 改裝工程前，Geoff首先用不少時間與車主溝通，掌握車主的需要、構想及了解車輛的實際情況，再用心設計改裝工程的藍圖，然後才正式進行。Geoff喜愛由原材料人手打造的零件、美觀部件、細心的打磨、金屬電鍍、燒焊連接、自製的座位與座墊等等，每個細節都要盡善盡美。在改裝的過程中，更經常與車主溝通，力求達至雙方滿意。 Geoff對自己的作品帶有堅持、執著與個人風格，筆者從多次接觸工作時的Geoff，感受到在他眼內，出於他手的每台改裝車彷如精心打造藝術品般，也樂見喜愛的欣賞者。 經Geoff手中翻新與改裝了很多的電單車，新舊車款均有。不過，許多車主偏向搜羅破舊不堪而個人喜愛的車款，由此而開始改裝翻新工程，目的是達至擁有獨特個性，美輪美奐耀眼的外觀與迎合車主的駕駛設定。工程或許是龐大，但滿足感亦遠超想象。相對而言，ET-CUSTOM也因此凝聚了一群熱愛電單車的車主，為其尋覓的喜愛車系延續生命。 後記 本誌除已製作的ET Custom Yamaha TW200改裝篇與 ET Custom "EVOLUTION"外，更有多款車系已經拍攝，稍後再作報導，敬請留意。另外，如讀者對改裝車輛有興趣可致電Geoff Giles查詢 (電話:6686 0041)。 Understanding ET-CUSTOM-modification process In tiny Hong Kong motorcycles market, already there were lots of shops, the vast majority are buying different brands of parts, according to customer needs, have been modified.
